The GM IPT 2021 tournament venues are Randburg Hockey Astro (2 x Astroturfs), Bryanston High School Astroturf and Morningside Country Club Astroturf. Selection for the  GM World Cup 60+ teams will be made at the tournament. Details of requirements are online.

Teams of 20 will be selected at IPT, and then those will be narrowed down to 16 after the Durban IPT early next year.

Practice

By now you should have received notification that practice starts this Sun 6 Sept and complete the weekend before GM IPT 2021. The IP is for all 55+ players who are selected. Sunday 5 and 12 Sept the practice starts 11:30-13:00. Then 19 & 26 Sep. 3 & 10 Oct 2021 9:00am.

Bobby has kindly offered his coaching services. The fee for the practice is R10 to cover the Astro hire.

We need at least 10 players per session. We had more than that confirm.

Payments

Firstly, if you want to send proof of payments, please send to Noreen (nwonnie@gmail.com). Any payment proofs sent anywhere else will result in a short corner for Rob’s side.

We are just over 50% paid up for the second (mini) half of the winter season. Should your name be missing, and you believe you have made payment, or are paying per game, please contact Noreen (nwonnie@gmail.com) or I.
